Ron Palillo, of 'Welcome Back, Kotter,' dies at 63. Palillo, played the nerdy high school student Arnold Horshack on the 1970s sitcom. According to news reports he suffered a heart attack at his home about 4 a.m on Tuesday August 14th in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
