Cam Newton fails to shine on prime time and at home after the Panthers lost to the Giants 36-7. The Giants had a lot to do with frustrating last season’s offensive rookie of the year. Newton had just six rushing yards and the Panthers are 1-9 when Newton has fewer than 50 rushing yards.
